Arzeda Corp.
announces a collaboration for
the development of new technologies to
enable novel bio-derived processes.
The initial focus of the collaboration will be on
the production of bio-derived butadiene.

The agreement brings together complementary technologies.
* Invista's capabilities in biotechnology and catalysis and
the knowledge of the chemicals industry and
* Arzeda's unique synthetic biology and
enzyme design cababilities.
The two companies are collaborating in order to further
co-develop the technology platforms, with the goal to
ultimately develop new bio-derived processes for
a range of products.

the global supply of butadiene.
- Developing a cost-competitive bio-derive route
will help assure ample supply and reduce price volatility.
Arzeda Corp.
- This agreement is not only further validating
the industrial value of Arzeda's technology.

the platform in a brand new way.

the computational enzyme design technolgy
enabling the development of enzyme for
any reaction of interest where
current biocatalysis technology faces significant obstacles.
