a new environmentally-friendly product with

Global Warming Potential (GWP)
of less than 1,
which is 1/3000 or less than that of
conventional HFC-134a refrigerant
- HFO-1234yf = Less than 1
- HFC-134a = 1,300
* as well as having a considerably shorter
Atmosheric Lifetime
of 1/500 or less.
- HFO-1234yf = 10.5 days
- HFC-134a = 13.4 years
AGC plans to build
a new high-efficiency manufacturing plant
using proprietary fluorochemical technology
at its Chiba Plant, Japan and
start supplying the new refrigerant
from around mid of 2015.
